It’s not that games are the source of spread - (though the socializing around tournaments could be). It just seems an easy one for them to stop with less economic impact. It’s just a shame because kids in virtual school and 9 months of this takes a toll on kids mental health.
Well, frankly homeschool and working all day with three kids as a single mom and then having to take them to 3000 sports all night long is shit for me, and shit for MY mental health. I need to continue working and they need to continue learning, but the driving to games I Couldn't watch and practices where my other kids couldn't play on the playground etc, feeling uncomfortable being asked to fly for club lax etc......i need it to end.
I am glad that some consistency is entering the equation, because this has been a crap situation.
