This is me. I stack content a lot. I often do a 5 minute warm and/or cool down ride on top of a 30 minute ride. I prefer that over a 45 minute ride. . I do stretches. Similar for run, I may do a 20 - 30 minute run and if feeling good stack on a 10 minute extra mile then stretch.
