My exes would always come back too. I’ve never once had any person that broke up with me not regret it at some point and try for a 2nd go. It takes a lot for me to leave, but once I’m out, I’m done. I think sometimes people can take you for granted or maybe they think they can trade up, or maybe the timing was wrong for the commitment. Once they’re single and then realize that they’re aren’t as hot on the market as they suspected, or maybe they regret not putting more work into the relationship and develop 20/20 hindsight. Other times, I think some people truly don’t know what they have until it is gone, no matter how much you try to fight to keep what is good. Maybe it is a difference in how men and women operate? Who knows. I will fight until the end for the man I love. If he doesn’t want me after that, he is free to go. So am I. It was good while it lasted. Thank you, next! Life is too short to waste time crying at closed doors.

WTF? Not.

Op, you are married correct (you are in your 50s).

No. Your AP is not coming back.

Maybe yours don't, but mine do.

These two songs always help me when someone breaks up w/me:

“Love Will Lead You Back” by Taylor Dane. 🎶

“Someday” by Mariah Carey. 🎶

Mine did. I never expected it, and I'm not sure it can last.
But with healthy break ups and individuals I think it is best to NOT come back or allow your ex back into your heart. Break up and done.

Are you both still with your spouses? I sure hope not.

Do men ever come back after breaking up abruptly? Context: Dated for few years/loving, positive relationship complicated by kids/ended without any drama several years ago. In 50’s.
