It isn't weird that he is friendly with your neighbors, it is weird that he isn't on good terms with his own neighbors. It is not just a eed flag, but a flashing neon sign reading 'this way to crazytown' that he became 'enraged' at his brother making plans without him.

And doesn't include me. He also doesn't tell me. I think this is weird. For one neighbor in particular, who is much older than me and dislikes how long I keep my lawn and my garden, he seems to go out of his way to be friendly with her. She's nice, in general, so I ignore her landscape preferences. But she gets all excited when she sees him.

He also tries to co-opt his brother's friends. He became enraged when his brother met up with a bunch of long time friends and didn't invite him.

He isn't on speaking terms with most of his neighbors (there are only a few).

Is this weird?
