There are only about 4 competitive schools on the Capital '22 recruit list. A good soccer player that can demonstrate coordination with a field hockey stick would get recruited by Delaware and all the CapLax media reps that are comparing results to the first year of Pride HS lacrosse and claiming victory are essentially playing the violin while watching Rome burn to the ground.
I guess Hero's Green, Skywalkers Blue and MD United all have field hockey teams now, as they all have Delaware commits in this class too. Stupid Internet Idiot. Learn something about lacrosse and which college coaches are building things and maybe your daughter will play NAIA Division II.
I guess all of the other clubs that have Delaware commits (YJS, Soundcrosse, Cora Kai) are all better than Pride, cause at least they got girls committed to D1. So there is no comparison.
Not a Pride parent and do believe athletes should go where they want, not anyone else's business. However, getting 4 girls into competitive schools doesn't show that you have a dominant club program in Virginia and nobody is gonna flock to your tryout because you got a kid into Delaware, no way to spin that as a positive. It is also concerning that Capital feels the need to compare itself to a program that just started. Hasn't Capital been around for 20 years? How does having a better recruiting record than the first year of Pride recruits show any kind of quality for the Capital program?
Agree 100%. Why is Capital bashing Pride so much?

Stop trying to pretend they're lining up on the sidelines at Capital games. They're looking for talented players to fill specific positions and they're just as happy to recruit players from any club, especially the one's that show up at their camps and clinics.
Kind of hard to recruit the girls who show up at college coaches’ camps or clinics since there have not been any since early February.
That’s true but that hasn’t stopped the capital 22 from being recruited.
