Elvis in in '68 Comeback Special singing, "Baby What You Want Me to Do?" It was his return to live performances after doing movies. He's in great shape and, clearly, having fun with the guys playing. The joy and life in his voice and performance is why I'll always remember him this way. It was so authentic.

IF we are talking about Patty Griffin, "Mary" makes me cry every time. There are several versions on Youtube. She has said the song is inspired by her grandmother. The one with Natalie Maines is beautiful too.

I just watched a recent video of Tracey Chapman singing "Talkin' 'bout a Revolution" that really moved me. That song meant so much to me as a young person. It made me reflect on the optimism of my youth and where I am now.
