Once new car production ramps up. Fundamentally, there is something out of whack when used costs as much as new (often more once financing is taken into account)

I think they've stabilized and are no longer continuing to climb, but I don't see them dropping significantly anytime soon.

Supply chain disruptions that began in March are having long ripple effects, and a drop in production of new 2020 cars may impact the used car market for up to a few years.

What make/model(s) are you looking at, OP?

When will used car prices go back down? I’ve been looking to buy a used car (2017-2018) since summer and I hate how elevated the prices have been.

Will they come down this winter?
