Because I didn't know who this was, here are some pics for others in my position:

She’s 28. My hair looked like that when I was 28 because my hair is thick and wavy - it blows out nicely with volume and holds a curl well. At 42, after 2 kids, my hair looks mostly like that but with some gray sprinkled in and slightly less thick.
I still can’t fit my hair in a standard large clip, even if I take the spring part out.

I use oleplex bond repair - overnight - once a month or so. I use gentle shampoo and conditioner every 2-3 days. I don’t blow dry my hair every time I wash it. I have a mason Pearson brush and I only use cloth snagless hair bands. I use a bit of mouse at my roots and dry that part with my head upside down. Then I blow out the bottom with a round brush. I use a shine serum from dry bar to smooth out the surface. I get my ends trimmed every 10-12 weeks.

I think a fair amount of women in this area lighten their hair, and that takes a toll on the texture after awhile. I don't mean that they're going from Kaitlan's brown to platinum blonde, but the majority of women I know with dark blonde or light brown hair tend to get highlights and go lighter and lighter over time. But then their grays are far less noticeable, if noticeable at all.

OTOH, for those of us with dark hair, even just a couple greys in the front stand out like crazy. I started getting gray patch on my right temple when I was 27!

For real? That is totally lame hair she has! I googled her and, I mean, her hair is boring and nothing special! My hair is the same color and without much looks better than hers! And I am your average Caucasian brown-haired woman almost 50!

You're not supposed to wash your hair daily.

Um, no. It’s specific to the individual, not the region. Southern women do tease and pouf their hair more, but the quality of the hair is not a southern thing.

It's more to do with your hair type, really. And how much processing and heat styling you've had over the years.

I'm 41 and still have great thick, shiny hair. Not bragging since the rest of me is a sh!tshow. Let me take my small win.

My mom is 66 and also has great shiny, full hair with very little grey.
