St Anne's School in Annapolis. They may have a few more spots open in other grades so give them a call!

I think St Andrews in Edgewater (basically Annapolis - near harbor center) and St Martins in Annapolis still have space too. (At least they did relatively recently) They're both open five days a week as well.
Basically, the non-Catholic K-8s are more likely to have space than the Catholic schools or the big K-12s.

I am blown away by how well the Catholic and other schools have done with COVID, especially the ones open 5 days per week. It is remarkable.

I agree that some people are definitely spinning others up.

None the less, ignoring them wouldn't have changed the reality that I had to make a decision about my child's school choices a few weeks ago, which I personally found extremely stressful. Ignoring them wouldn't have changed the fact that the hybrid plan wasn't explained clearly and significant details were frequently added *during* the decision time period. Ignoring them wouldn't have changed the fact that teachers had to figure out if/how to return to school, or go to their doctors to try and get their leave or accommodations approved.

The Board screwed this up immensely. They should have either opened in September when numbers were way better, or stuck to the original plan. Ellis and Corkadel created the stress and spin. Everyone else reacted to that (yes, badly in some cases)

The parent's "advocacy" groups and the teachers' union got parents spun up. Ignore the drama. Completely ignore it. It was lack of leadership which delayed the opening until the absolute worst time when the long predicted second wave was forecasted to hit. I doubt they will reopen in February either. If the school system had tried to open in a hybrid format in September when the cases were low, kids would have had some time of campus before closures.
The advocacy groups are not helping anyone. They are spinning parents into a frenzy and making the decisions take longer than they need to.

I agree. Unfortunately, everyone waited until the worst possible time to consider returning kids to school, making it more unlikely that they will be able to return this year. It is the right decision though. I wish people were taking the virus more seriously!

BoE meeting last night voted to delay until second semester because of the current health metrics (well over 10, and just went over 15/100,000)

It's the right decision. It's just a shame the spent the last few weeks getting everyone all spun-up and stressed.
