I'm at one of the charters mentioned in this thread. What charters are doing is nowhere near the scale of what DCPS has to do. I'm proud of my charter's efforts but even the largest charters can't serve as an exemplar for a system with 45,000+ kids and hundreds of schools. So, to your point, let's not drag charters into this fight; don't take a shot at us and don't use us to put down DCPS.
