Only 1 symptom:
- New onset of cough ( what does that mean? Nonstop coughing or coughing a few times a day? Even healthy kid or adult cough a few times a day, and my 2 year old lately likes to fake coughing because it is fun)
- Shortness or breath
Two symptoms or more:
- fever of 100.4 or higher
-chills
-shivering
-muscle pain
-sore throats
-headache
-loss of sense of taste or smell
-nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
So, running nose & sneezing are not on the lists because they are so common? I am surprised fever alone is okay.

Can I ask where you are getting the tests done for your DC? I am having a hard time finding a rapid antigen test for an under-5 (if not at their current pediatrician's office).

The fever thing is weird to me too because we weren't allowed to bring a kid with a fever over 100 pre covid!

Agree about the fever, also surprised runny nose/sneezing is not on the list.
