It's the same as the BMW X6- it's pointless to me, but enough people buy them to justify it

OP here and I'm not being snarky. I truly don't understand the point of this vehicle, which is neither fish nor fowl. I understand that AMG is extra and signals certain things, but that's not what I'm confused about with the GLE43.

It's like choosing a pickup truck with no truck bed, or a convertible with a fixed roof that doesn't retract.

I don't really think it's that hard... Some people like having an SUV but don't really need the boxy cargo space. They like the sporty roofline of the GLE coupe styling. Given that most people buying SUVs don't really need one for practical reasons, this is not necessarily a bad design choice. The "coupe" SUVs sell well enough for MB for them to bring it back in new generations.

Personally I would not get a 43, but that's beside the point.

I really have no idea. I don't know why you wouldn't just get eh AMG GLE regular SUV. Maybe it looks sporty and not as much like a mom car?

This is the problem with Mercedes. Way too broad of a product line. Then dealers end up having just 2-3 of each model because there are so many models and not enough space for all of them. I remember teh good old days of just S,E,C class, and 2-3 SUV models.

BMW is slightly better. Audi is a little better: A3,4,5,6,7,8, Q3,5,7

Why would someone choose this over a Mercedes sedan for the same MSRP? Over a Mercedes SUV?
