I don't live in the area, but where I live the local paper did an article on disappearing election signs. They also interviewed the head of public works. He said they have a mountain of them stacked up behind their main depot. People keep posting them on public land so they keep removing them. Seems like the majority of "disappearing" signs were for that reason.

Where, specifically, was this sign located? The right-of-way at the corner where I live is a popular corner for political signs, but they're not allowed there. If you put one there, I will take it down, irrespective of who or what it's for. Yard signs are for yards.
