Me too.

She's kept D.C. at one of the lowest Covid outbreaks in the nation (across all major cities and states). I feel safe here and I'm glad to have her leading.

She’s awful - never voted for her on council or mayor. Would be shocked if she’s not under investigation for developer kick-backs.

But this year has shown that she’s not up to the task of being mayor in tough times. And things are likely to get worse as police begin taking a hands off approach, crime starts to surge, and people and their tax base start moving back out.

And yet she has still managed to screw that up. Homicide rates (the only stat that can't be juked) have been rising for years. We are up 15% over last year and we still have 2 months left in the year!

Actually, does anyone have any polling on public opinion of her recently? I’d be curious to know how people feel. Her handling of COVID has been pretty good, imo, but school reopening has been a disaster. Also, endorsing Mike Bloomberg? Yuck. I think her policies don’t help the most vulnerable people in this city and I won’t be voting for her in 2022.

Shea a Democratic Socialist. If this city chooses a DemSoc to run it then it will likely fail.

Yeah, democratic socialism is so bad like those nice countries where people have healthcare, low poverty, and low crime. Sure hope we don't end up like them

If only we could draft Anthony Williams back!

Could he come in for another two terms and then leave again. He was just so competent.

As do 80% of the people in this city. she is going to get a third term, unless she gets some kind of sweet opportunity in a Biden administration. Face it, nobody is coming for her job in 2022.

Not Vincent Gray, not Robert White, not even Karl Racine are going to knock her off. She is destined to get a third term and has been a damn good mayor. The echo chamber on here likes to criticize her for everything.
