Not new releases but recent ones I liked:

Pachinko
The Far Field
My Life in France
Upstairs at the White House (Not specifically about politics, but memoir of longest serving Butler at the White House and his impressions of the first families over the years)

Beyond the Beautiful Forevers, one of the best books I've ever read. It won the 2012 National Book Award and many other awards, so I'm not alone. And it's a great read - a book you're happy to get to read, booty one that you just feel you should.

I’m in serious need of some book recommendations. I tend to prefer fiction, but I’m open to anything non-political. Please recommend your books!!!
