Jewelry making kits. The older girl might like a calligraphy set. Face paint or a kit of horror movie paint, depending on their tastes. Nice quality art supplies. If you tell us a little bit more about what they like, we can probably guide you better.

You really need to ask what they are into, OP, esp. for the 10 year old. Some kids love legos, others not so much and won't open the box. Some are into starwars or other franchises, and others not at all. My 10 year old hates crafts but loves sports, so a basketball would be a great gift to her but an art kit would go unused.

I would love it if my 3rd grader was into calico critters. I love those little dressed up animals. Dd is crazy for all things LOL but Ive only bought her a few. Her friends have big collections of them and when they play together they all bring theirs out to trade outfits and play. I think a pricier accessory of something they are really into would make a good gift (like a backpack in the theme of a video game/show/movie they like). See if she is into a specific animal (llama, corgi, cat) and get a pillow or stuffy of it. I haven't met a kid that doesn't like minky material pillows/blankets.

My 9 year old is weirdly into Polly Pockets all of a sudden. I'm also getting her some window art craft kits (fake stained glass) and a rug hook pillow project.

If you go this route, get extra packs of film! The film is where they get you (ask me how I know).

My sister always gets my kids expensive clothes. Not crazy expensive, but she will get my boys a leather jacket or a Lacoste jacket. And she will get my girls a special occasion dress to wear for play or Melissa shoes or earrings with tiny diamonds... things their practical mother would never get them.

They love them, and they are so excited to put on their Aunt Jo (my sister became an aunt when J.lo was popular) clothes.

Things my 9yo girl is into:

Maybe some kind of subscription kit? Mine has Little Passports and loves it, she has had Kiwi Crate in the past and liked that too. There are cooking ones as well.

My 8yo DD likes the Mandalorian so I’ve bought her a Lego baby Yoda set. Also bath bombs, that’s it so far. I would ask a parent what kind of things they like. Or go with generic smelly bath/shower type fun things.
