I watched it and really felt like he did his time and paid the punishment so now the community needs to let him and us move on. He’s not the smartest person out there but I do think he’s sincere in his remorse. The documentary did a great job of pointing out the hypocrisy of society demanding he be given an extremely long prison sentence and forever punishing him wherever he is for killing dogs (which is a bad crime) even after all He’s done to be remorseful, give back, etc BUT then some white celebrity or even a no body drinks and drives or makes some mistakes and kills someone but they deserve a second chance.

I watched it months ago, but it still strikes me how many red flags (he thought the cop cars across the street from his house were security for the church... um, no, they're doing surveillance on you dude) and missed opportunities passed him by (declined mentors, no self discipline).
Such raw talent.

His loser brother Marcus has been in and out of jail since getting booted from va tech.

Michael had just enough talent to not end up in prison for life too.
