Yeah, you put your finger on it. The progressives like Silverman and Grasso who speak for AA community's don't actually represent their views. I guess they just "know better"

DC is a diverse city and we are making forward progress.


These photos scare Republicans, who are hanging on to their last gasp of a rich, white party.

DC is going to become a state, with a balanced, diverse population and a balanced, diverse council to go with it.

Since it's far-left now, vote centrist for balance? Chander is a good candidate. Solid, pro small business, has done a lot for all the different stakeholders in his ANC.

White progressives support ideas the appeal to them and not ideas that necessaily have any effect on their lives.

1. Defund the police. They'll say it but they don't really believe it.
2. Schools: They'll go charter, private, or move.
3. Housing: They talk a good gentrification story but they're the gentrifiers.
4. Jobs: They don't care because they ride a laptop. The local economy means little to them. See #3
