Use MyFitnessPal and track what you eat. I’d suggest 40% carbs, 30% fat, 30% protein. Find a calorie calculator online and determine what your base calorie intake is and just try getting the %s right before actually cutting calories. See food as fuel. You won’t get bulky; that is a myth. Read Stacy Sims’ book Roar. You can do this!

Thanks for replying. Do I need to lift heavy even if I don't want to bulk up? Just look wiry and a bit shredded? I am 115 lbs, I am not sure that I can look that muscular without weight gain?
I don't know exactly what look you're going for, but if you want to look "lean", then yeah, protein/lifting heavy. It doesn't have to be barbells if you don't want (it doesn't really matter). You will definitely be limited in terms of how muscular you can get if you don't want to gain weight. But it sounds like the look you're going for is to lower your body fat and retain as much muscle as you gain or gain muscle. That's difficult if you're already thin, but protein/lifting is the best way that doesn't resort to serious drug use.

But WHY OP. You aren’t overweight and are an “older” woman. Is having the ab definition of a fitness professional really worth the starvation and diet restriction? You are likely going to contribute to done density degeneration if you keep at it.
