To this day, porta johns trigger this one scene I can't shake. It doesn't help that I'm a parent either.

Moving, haunting, and the soundtrack is so evocative.

The film is uneven but the scenes depicting the liquidation of the Krakow ghetto are utterly heart wrenching and beautifully filmed. Among the most powerful cinema ever.

I saw it when I was 17 (I'm 43) and thought it was interesting and meaningful.

I don't read reviews of movies - they seem useless to me.

It’s probably not proper, but an SNL parody where Neesom is an action star schlinder killing nazis and stopping the Holocaust is what we need right now. Sort of like Inglorius Basterds mixed with Taken and SL.
