Only worried about making $$ have no care for players. Could not agree more with post above. It’s all about the $$ and players are an afterthought.

Most players were more aligned with the coach than Benfica.

Agree with PP that clubs do this all the time. BSC and Achilles (they poached a group of BSC players because they lost so many players-not a result of this coach but the owner), to name a couple. It is a business before a sport and you hope DC gets the training and playing time you buy in to.

Players and parents will go where they are a best fit and enjoying the game.

Kevin did the exact same thing to MRM and move them to BSC. Remember, travel soccer is business first then soccer.

As have a large share of coaches/clubs in the area. My kids are in high school. I can't even count how many times a coach has moved from one club to another and attempted to take the entire team. It happened almost every year when my kids were younger.

Not great new for achilles.... I've been told alot of players chose to leave and follow that coach to paragon. Says a lot

Saw their 09s play at the SAC Columbus day tournament before my DS game, and for a new club, the team looked very well coached up and all the kids seemed to have very good technical skills.
