Since March, my DH calls his widowed mom at least once a day. It’s been a really hard time for her.

my husband calls his mother every sunday and sometimes additional times if there's big news or whatever.

They have a Family Call every Sunday morning. Then he talks to her a couple of times throughout the work week. Could be twice in a week, could be 4 times. His family is all very close and normal.

DH is 39 and he calls once a week to talk to them both. His dad will usually call an additional 1-2 times a week.
My brother is 36 and he texts with my mom pretty much every day (as do I) and calls twice a week.

Dh calls maybe once a week. And never just his mom. It’s either both of them on the phone together or he calls his dad.

Used to 1X per week, then it became less frequent as I got older and “cheaper long distance on Sundays” was no longer a thing.
Mom passed a few years ago. Now I wish I could call her at all.

Not sure - maybe once a week? Once every two weeks? They call me more often than that, since they like to pick up the grandkids on a floating schedule.

My DH, 57, has always called his mom on Sundays. He calls more often now that she’s nearly 90, probably 2-3x week just to check in.

I met my husband in his mid-20’s. Now he is in his early 50’s. In all of that time he tries to call his folks once a week plus special occasions.
