OC here. My husband is a Senate staffer. Its our understanding that the waitlist for the Senate is about 18 months right now (had a friend who recently had a baby ). We're not due til the Spring, but anticipate a similar wait time.

I have a friend who is a senate staffer and she says it's nearly impossible to get off the waitlist, even as a staffer. But its rep is very good.

Are you or your husband a Senate or LOC staffer? Both are nearly impossible to get into especially with lower classroom counts due to covid. I know also both had a harder time going back because they are limited on space and didn’t have excess rooms to split classes into smaller cohorts.

No. But check out the Harbor at Station Place and FERC Bright Horizons. Both are super close and have shorter waitlists in my experience

My husband and I are expecting our first this spring and are on the waitlist for Senate and applying to LOC. I checked the threads but didn't see any recent discussions of either.

I would love to hear about recent experiences with them, particularly with newborns, and how they are (or are not) handling COVID.

Thanks!
