Their success rates in CO are much higher. It’s too soon to know if CCRM will replicate the CO success rates since only limited data is available. Ultimately I wasn’t willing to spend more when the track record wasn’t there. I asked Schoolcraft about them and he basically said, ummm just come to CO. If you want CCRM, go to CO. Maybe in a few years will know if NOvA is as good.

Ultimately, if you are successful, you'll be happy with the clinic. If you aren't successful, you won't be. Was CCRM perfect? No. But I got a baby at the end, so I'm happy. I'm sure if I hadn't gotten a baby, I would have been very upset with them.

SGF patient for 9 years, with two and one on the way, all with Dr. Nair. I agree with everything posted here (though my case is “easy” because I had lost both tubes but eggs and sperm were great). Dr Nair is very kind and has hugged me- pre-Covid of course- so many times, if you’re looking for being treated a little bit like a snowflake

We’ve been SG patients for 11 years. Two babies and one on the way. I had Widra for two and Levy now. I have been pleased with them because obviously whatever they are doing works for me. But that being said, they are a baby factory. You will not be treated like a special snowflake. I’ll never forget before our first round of IVF (after six months of clomid and four failed IUI’s) I was crying and Widra just sat there staring at me. But all that said, I think they know their stuff and I wouldn’t change a thing

PP makes a good point, as you will have a LOT of visits. I’m over a year in with Shady Grove - Dr Moon. While I haven’t gotten results yet I have been really impressed with their medical knowledge and facilities. They certainly are business focused and are a bit of a factory, but I do feel like they are vested in this succeeding and trying to make it work. I have also found Dr Moon to be very empathetic and available. I know a lot of folks don’t love Shady Grove but my experience has been largely good.

Keep in mind you will have to go to a lot of monitoring appointments, so pick somewhere convenient for you to get to between the hours of 7-9 am. It’s less of an issue now with Covid-traffic but it also depends on whether you work out of the house, have childcare for your toddler, etc. I would not say this trumps the right doctor (we like Dr Payson at CCRM) but it might eliminate some choices in the initial stage.

I use shady Grove and have been a repeat customer there for ten years on and off. Recently they made a mistake with a contract and billing, apologized, and didn't make me pay several thousand dollars I would have needed to pay. They turned a stressful time into a non-stressful time and handled it really well when they could have done the opposite. I'm happy at SGF although I'm sure with any practice there would be small issues here and there.

Agree with PP. I would do a consult at a few places and then decide. I went with CCRM and was happy with Dr Payson, but I know others haven’t had good experiences there. It really is so personal.

You could always do consults with them to find a good fit and good commute. I've had friends have good experiences and bad experiences with CCRM, Shady Grove, Columbia Fertility, and Dominion. I had a bad experience with Shady Grove (and my dr) but a good friend loves Shady Grove and that same dr. It's all so personal.

Will be my first time going to a fertility clinic. Recently turned 40, have one toddler. Had a missed miscarriage and chemical in the last year. Which of these, or others would you recommend? I’m in Nova
