We've taken our cars in a couple of times already. We have 2 cars so just shuttle there. Normally we would do the loaner car but didn't feel comfortable with that in May when we took them in. I would do the loaner now for sure. Just bring some wipes with you and wipe down the high touch surfaces in the loaner. We also do that when we pick up the car.

I just took my Subaru in for service. They will give you a free loaner car so you don’t have to wait. Call your dealership and see if they offer cars. Even if you can’t go home, you could leave the lot and run an errand.

A valet from the dealer picked up and returned my car for my first (free) service in my new car a few weeks ago.

Any tips on how to safely take my car in for servicing during the pandemic? I would need to wait there for it.

Did you wait indoors or just stand around outside?

Also, any recommendations in the Rockville area?
