It seems far more likely to me that marriages were less happy back then, it's just they weren't allowed to divorce.

Lol. These are the same posters who claim that none of their close friends have had an affair.

People who did not have a happy childhood and were not raised in a loving marriage. They are cynical and don’t realize the trauma and jealousy and dysfunction that resulted from witnessing two unhappy people is now their own destiny as well. They are not nice people and can’t understand honesty or integrity. They end up selfish and bitter.

I present the "Where can I find a SAHM" thread where dude wants to emulate his parents marriage but have his GF sign an ironclad prenup in case he wants to bounce.

This term originated from Arsenio Hall.

It then was turned into a dance song.

Sorry, just a fun fact.

Couples that renew their vows. Don’t get it. When the priest said “Until death”, I took it seriously.

Couples married several years who still post engagement/wedding photos on a monthly basis, complete with "still so in love!!!"

This is just a silly thread - what things do you see that makes you ponder what going on in someone else’s relationship. For me, shared Facebook profile make me definitely assume there was cheating

(I’m not on a high horse casting judgement - I had a public separation followed by reconciliation and baby right away afterwards. I’m sure many people assume we are only together bc of the baby. just sharing the example to say this is supposed to be a funny thread about what raises your eyebrows about others, not me thinking I have a perfect relationship and think I really know what’s going on in anyone else’s)
