Probably just a shifting sleep pattern. May need to adjust afternoon nap or bedtime, but wait to see if it’s a one off.
Next time, try not to intervene unless he is upset. If he wakes and is playing in bed, don’t go in and definitely don’t remove him from his bed. Just wait it out.
Sorry, I want clear. He is happy and playing with us. We would have kept him in our bed because somehow I’ve developed the ability to sleep through my nose being honked by a kid. But he kept climbing out of bed. He is a screaming terror in his crib. That’s why we went to check on him to begin with.
He’s in the other room with his dad now and I can hear he’s still not sleeping.
