He admitted he is a mouthpiece for NAACP and other special interest groups that are driving all of this

That's the right way to build a more diverse pipeline

He brings up Caltech as an example of no test. He leaves out that nearly all Caltech applicants get a perfect SAT score. It is meaningless for their applicants. Completely different from a group of kids that can’t even pass an easy first round set of tests.

They are keeping everything on the table to try and maximize URM/FARMS attendance

Full Lottery
Hybrid Merit Lottery
Assigning spots from each region and/or each middle school

Whichever model increases URM/FARMS the most will be selected

Based on student info sheet 21st century skills
Math/Science Problem Essay (Quality of the original/creative thought)
Experience Factors (URM, FARMS, middle school with 3 or less acceptances the past 3 years)

And this is a bad thing because you want the school all to yourself?

Admitted the goal continues to be increasing URM diversity
