thanks. unbelievable that there’s no way to do a quick search for missing assignments across all classes! that seems like the most obvious need!
Go to Grade tab, it will show what is missing or not graded yet.
Also download canvas on iphone, tablet ect. To Do list automatically shows list of assignments and notification tab will show assignment missing.
There is also an extension in chrome that is suppose to help parents see assignments better. check it out.

-Rocket ship is a quiz that either needs to be regraded or graded or the points changed. (Even though canvas calls it a "quiz" it can actually be a homework and not a "quiz" but the tool used to set it up is "quiz" in canvas)
- I don't know a way to search all classes for what's missing or late. You'll have to go through each class.
- If stuff isn't showing up on the calendar make sure that the class is "checked" in the menu on the left side after you click the calendar icon.
I'm not an MCPS teacher but I've been using for canvas for 5 years now and I'm still so frustrated by the little things....

"T" in canvas is text entry submitted and not yet graded.
From what I understand Synergy is having problems. Grades don't transfer automatically from canvas to synergy and if they do, they are often getting messed up.
