You are awesome for saving her. You can certainly foster her and see if you can find another loving home.

Hi all. I need help deciding what to do. A few months ago I saw a dog and her puppy at an animal shelter (not in my state) on facebook that was neglected by her owner. I started watching for updates on her on her online. Her puppy was reclaimed by the owner but the mama was not. My heart broke for this dog. I started calling the shelter daily to get updates on her. She was on a court hold but they wouldn't say why. Well, last week the shelter told me that the owner was not going to reclaim her so I got in my car and drove 7 hours to get her (kind of crazy). I am very impulsive but just wanted to get her out of that place. Well now I have to decide what to do. Do I keep her or find another home for her. The big thing is I have two other dogs. She is two years old and my other dogs are 5 and nine months. She is very high energy and extremely loving. She is just so sweet. I have gotten to have such a bond with her. She is a big dog and is a lot of work, however. Walking three dogs isn't easy. I want so badly to keep her but I am finding it hard to get my work done during the day with all the distractions.

My question is this: for those of you who have three dogs, how do you manage it? How do you walk them and feed them? Is this impossible for me? There is someone my husband knows who is interested in her but it makes me sad to think of her leaving. On the other hand, live would be easier with two dogs.. . . .what would you do if you were me?
