Please don’t do this. It’s not good for the local communities.

You can’t paint all of “the south” with such a broad brush. In tucson (a blue city in a red state), mask compliance has been very good and cases are very low.

Thank you. Really silly post.

I wouldn’t for the reasons mentioned above, but especially not Florida. DeSantis is a moron. Maybe AZ, but I’m not sure.

I’d also be worried about being away from doctors who know my family during a pandemic. If we need treatment, Covid or non Covid related, I’d want access to someone who knows my family’s history.

We're considering Europe for 2 - 3 months. Dual passports.

There was so much uncertainty in the spring and summer. I now feel more comfortable with covid and our new normal. We stay away from people, always wear masks (both inside and outside unless we are alone).

I know families who had beach houses all went over the summer. We rented a few houses and social distanced (Outer Banks and SC). Now I am considering renting a house in a low key area in Florida. I have no idea where, somewhere with lowish covid cases.

Is anyone planning to go south for the winter?

I have 1 kid in preschool and 2 kids in elementary. Elementary kids are doing virtual school and preschooler is in person but I don’t care about pulling her out for a month or 2 or 3.
