Modern fruit isn't really great anyway, it has way more sugar than real fruit you'd find in the wild.
Also keep in mind a lot of the veggies we eat (tomatoes, avocados, squash, cucumbers, peppers, etc) are technically fruit.

I'm with you. I do like fruits but I find most to be too tart. And I'm allergic to most fruits. I try to eat a small apple everyday (even though they tend to make my throat itch).
I like perssimmons as they are not as tart. It's a fall fruit so they should be pretty good right now.
Have you tried peeling and/or cooking the apples?
