Also meant to add that if you are registered for the first time in DC you are required to include your proof of residency with your ballot. Documentation takes time to review, and the ballot may not be counted if the docs do not meet requirements.

Signature review. It’s affecting about 1 percent of ballots. The Board of Elections says they will be in touch if they reject a ballot and that voters will have until 11/13 to remedy the situation.

They are. Mine was marked returned and accepted within a week of putting it in a drop box. Maybe there's something odd about yours? Your signature, maybe?
