That seems to be the working hypothesis. That the Lincoln Project will absorb the RVAT and become the basis of a new center-right political party, given the Republican Party 1) won't be viable post-Trump and 2) won't have Russia to support it financially anymore.

He’s not up for election till 2022. It makes no sense to announce this now. He’s trying to get in front of something. I think the PP correct. He’s hoping to rebrand. Nope, not happening. PA may still go Red this election but not next.

Interesting. Toomey is on record as saying that he supported the appointment and installation of Amy COVID Barrett - even though it violates the McConnell Rule. Is he going to vote no?
