Eh I really don’t care the type of car he drives. But I think the way he takes care of his car says a lot about a guy.

I like if the truck has some flags as well, the bigger the better.

If you live in the city, Alexandria or Arlington, etc and drive an F-350 I think you’re a jerk.

I have never been picked up by my date in the 2 yrs I’ve been dating

+1 Unless it's a little pickup truck.

Nope. Still douchey.

I am completely turned off by the guy in a Prius. I’ll take a v8 any day.

DH had no car when we met. We walked for the most part, and once he picked me up with his SIL's tiny, ancient, beaten up car.

This. IMO, someone who owns a truck needs to use it for its intended purpose on a regular basis. You should buy a car that fits your lifestyle. You can rent pretty much anything else if/when you need it.

If you're a civil engineer who has to show up on site to projects? Cool.

If you're a dickbag who thinks I'm impressed by your fish pic (mine is bigger) and you drive the car just for the look? Dork.

Women, what is your opinion on guys that drive pickup trucks or large SUVs. Not lifted, nothing obnoxious, just trucks and SUVs because they haul or tow stuff. I suppose it depends on some women, but I'm wondering how many woman immediately think less of the guy by thinking he's one of those overcompensating types, etc.
