Madison Day School's owner I think is a playground builder too. Both campuses have really nice playgrounds.

Close to de ray is Potomac crescent Waldorf school. It’s lovey for preschool, and the outdoor space is fabulous.

Bright Horizons Old Town usually has Soccer Shots instructional soccer in the Movement Matters room too.

Bright Horizons Old Town has a nice shaded playgound. They have sheds with scooters and bikes that they aren't using due to COVID. They have a wonderful indoor play space, the Movement Matters room that has a ballet barre, mirrors, rock climbing wall, play silks, ride on toys, balls, hoola hoops, tunnels, play structures. They do yoga and obstacle courses. They even do obstacle courses in the hallway.Two kids who go there and it is great.

Bright Horizons Old Town has a nice playground. It's open to the public on weekends and I take my kid to use the slide sometimes.

We were there for 3 years and never encountered that kind of problem. It was more laid back than many of the big centers, but we always felt our kid was well-supervised and supported. Their playground is great, and they are very good about getting the kids outside multiple times each day.

They have a new director now so be sure to speak wirth current families for an accurate reference.

I'm looking at preschool options in Old Town Alexandria or Del Ray for my 2 year old. I really value outdoor play time but it is so difficult to tell what kind of outdoor play space each facility has by looking at websites. Any places that should be on my short list based solely on outdoor space? We are very flexible on start date so don't mind options with a wait list.
