I don’t bike, but I do occasionally try to walk around my own city — where I live, vote, and pay taxes — and let me just tell you I hope you and every other a$$hole driver speeding around our streets without any regard for people on foot drive your dumb selves straight into a tree at 70mph and die. Bicycles are banned on highways. You get to share the road on the rest.

If you're really concerned about improving the flow of traffic then find a solution to misbehaving drivers who smash their cars into things and double parked delivery trucks. They move 0 mph.

They are so angry. They slow everyone down by going up to 25 miles per hour under the speed limit.

It's not worth it to you. It's worth a lot to the bike riders, and it's also worth a lot to pedestrians to have traffic slowed down to a safer speed. You don't have the right to blow down Constitution at 40 MPH.

This. I see very few bikers that blow through stop signs when there is cross traffic. Personally, I often don't stop at stop signs or red lights if it's safer -- if I can see there's no cross traffic, it's actually much better to proceed when I know there won't be any cars overtaking me and turning into my path.

OP almost every single car I see rolls through stop signs. Even worse, blowing through actual red lights. There's one red light near me where at least 1-2 cars blows through the red light EVERY TIME.

I think the most obvious ones are like that. Kind of like the most obvious drivers are the ones passing you on the right at stop signs, honking excessively, tailgating, speeding, etc. We don't tend to notice the drivers who behave or the bicyclists who are the same. When I go for a bike ride in my neighborhood, I notice more bicyclists who are riding responsibly.

until one of them gets killed then they blame road constructions etc and they are so far up politicians ........... the politicians react as if it is everyone else's fault.

not many fatal bike crashes are the fault of the driver. The past several in Bethesda have resulted in no charges to the driver but totally created a mess for drivers after the fact, perfect example is Little Falls and the Crescent Trail.

I think the rule is that if anyone else breaks a law -- say, a car driver goes over the speed limit -- then bicycle riders are issued a free pass on everything. Nothing counts against them anymore.

when they dont follow the road signs. Are they supposed to be stopping at stop signs? They constantly blow right through them and expect everyone to yeild and will flick you off at the smallest things when they cant follow the rules!
