Be prepared to pay $30+. Or look for a doula. Still will be more expensive than you think.

I also love a Kumba! She’s the best, and made having a newborn as stress-free as possible at night. She’s a true baby professional and our son is so happy around her.

I love my night nurse, Kumba
(301) 693-3400

She’s so good with my son. She’s an RN and just so instinctive and kind

My son is so calm and sleeps well when she’s around
The other day he hadn’t had a bowl movement for 24 hours .. she did massages and certain movements and the problem was solved!

I highly recommend her

Balanced Bellies has PostPartum Doulas and Newborn Care Specialists in that range. They were so helpful with both of our children.

Doula Care of Maryland and Metropolitan Doulas both have certified overnight postpartum doulas.

Try Let Mommy Sleep. They were great and you could pick the level of care you needed (i.e. RN, LPN, etc.)

For that price range. You’ll probably get a night nanny

Night nurse (someone with a nursing degree)
NCS (someone certified as a newborn specialist)
Night nanny (someone to come and just feed baby no sleep training or other things done. Just to let you sleep )

Are you in need of a nurse, who is an RN, or a Newborn Care Specialist? Or are you seeking a night nanny who has newborn experience? The pay rates are very different for the 3 options, so you’ll have better luck getting suggestions if you clarify your needs.

We are looking for a night nurse to work in DC in early December for a couple of weeks. Any recommendations? Closer to $20-25 would be great. Thanks!
