FFS. You know what preschool-aged kids of working parents were doing before daycares and preschools reopened? Endless hours of screen time. Is that better in your mind? Nothing about this year is perfect. For many, myself included, having kids in preschool with certain accommodations and new rules far exceeds the alternative.

Their work is play! Puzzles, pretend cars, artwork, etc. They aren’t doing lines in Dickensian misery for Pete’s sake.

My kid is definitely coming home with more artwork than before, but they’re still allowed to play and are outside twice per day.

Yes, ours is but they're eating boxed lunches so they are not serving themselves/being served from common plates.

Yes but 1 at each end vs 5/6 at a table.

Also picnic style as well

Are the kids at the preschool level sharing tables while eating lunch?
