They stayed in the family by going to Renegades not going to argue that a lot of girls left, but some stayed yet wanted the same caliber of talent with Renegades being a true A team. Renegades just got a new director (3rd in about 5 years), the 24s coach, and he is looking for his own new own for Rebels.
Fewer clubs around Frederick as compared to MoCo make it easier to keep talent home.

Fair point, but many - not all, some are still there - left because of those coaches. Younger players also left due to those coaches when they were with the younger teams (the age group they have now at WAYs).
Rumor has it, Haight is looking for someone to step in as director in part due to all of the tournaments he runs.
But they left for Hero's, HoCo, and Renegades for the most part. All three better run clubs (which is weird because Renegade's is Haights as well...). Rebels still doesn't even have a 26 team.

would that mean Rebels coaches or other ones as well? I get the impression they are really just looking to fill a void in Mo Co. They seem to have time and money to put into it as well.
The WAYs coaches that left Rebels don't have great reputations, Rebels coaches are fine.
They're not trying to fill a void, they had been to multiple clubs in the area and overstayed their welcome. But still wanted to be completely in charge. So, started their own club.
