This was me. 30 at egg retrieval and fresh cycle. Had a baby at 31. Transferred a non PGS frozen at 34 and had a second healthy baby. Currently pregnant at 40 with the third from that same fresh cycle and SG recommend to not test since I was young and had two healthy babies.

I agree with others. Transfer.

Go for it, transfer

Since you were only 29 I would just transfer them. 100%. I personally would not thaw to test then refreeze then thaw. Especially since you were so young. And still are relatively young now!

OP, what’s your plan if the transfer doesn’t work? I personally would not thaw, test and refreeze. It’s probably not worth the risk of damaging the embryo. I would just transfer and see what happens, but it all depends on what your alternatives are. If you would do another egg retrieval cycle, I might just go ahead and do that while testing this batch.

Very similar scenario for us, in the sense of non-tested embryos used years later. We didn’t test bc I was young, but our infertility cause was loss of both tubes, so maybe that would make a difference? On the other hand, Doctor said thaw plus testing plus refreeze plus potential thaw again could potentially damage the embryos, too.

I'm considering trying a FET with our embryos from my first IVF cycle (which successfully resulted in my daughter), with OE retrieved when I was 29 (DS was 30, primary cause was pretty severe MFI). 35 now, would be 36 at delivery if it works. We had 3 high quality embryos but never PGS tested them at the RE's recommendation. Should I test the embryos or just give it a shot?
