OP here, thanks for checking in. I go in tomorrow morning for my first beta but my tests are positive! Hoping for a good number and that I won't miscarry again.

OP, there is definitely hope. I did donor egg with SGF, and had two good embryos. The first one resulted in a miscarriage. The second result in my baby boy.

Definitely possible. I was 38 years old (unexplained, >3 years TTC, 3 failed IUIs). 8 retrieved, 6 fertilized & all 6 went to blast, 2 hatching blasts transferred fresh (twins), 4 remaining blasts frozen (did not do PGS though). Best of luck!

We did a retrieval at age 35 and ended up with only two embryos. Transferred the best embryo right away, and it was successful. Three years later we defrosted the second embryo and, after a cancelled transfer and ERA, it was also successful. We feel incredibly lucky, but it can happen.

I had 3 healthy, PGS normal embryos from one retrieval, at 37yo. Only one of the transfers was successful, though.
Good luck!

OP, I'm sending you good wishes. The only time I had a successful transfer I made a point to go outside every day to get some sun (and say some prayers).

OP, sending you positive thoughts. We transferred the second of the only two blasts we got. I’ll never forget that the doctor called me on the way to the transfer to advise me that the blast was “so so”. I cried all the way home convinced there was no hope.
And now that so-so blast is now my beloved 6 year old.

There are definitely good odds you'll get two healthy embryos out of one egg lot, especially with donor eggs since donors are young and healthy. Even in my 40s I got 3 normals out of one egg lot with my own eggs and the percentage of normals is statistically going to be higher the younger you go. In my case the first two miscarried but our last shot for us gave us our beautiful healthy daughter. I'm hoping the same for you and sending you tons of good luck and well wishes!

Hugs OP. I remember being where you are in the process.
We had a couple of years in the trenches, and multiple failures (of various types.) We were down to our last, less than great quality, 2 day six blasts from donor eggs.
We transferred both, with little hope. My twins are about to turn 9 and everyone is healthy and happy with all of those anguished days nothing more than distant memories now.
Hang in there! I will keep you in my thoughts.

We are about to transfer our second (and last) embryo from a donor egg lot. The first transfer ended in a mc and testing after mc showed chromosomally normal. This one was a day 6 blast (the other was day 5). This is our last chance as we have decided not to pursue further treatment after this. I'm trying to stay positive but I'm really scared it won't work and it seems like such a long shot. I would love any stories of success. Thanks in advance!
