Will you serve food? If food is served, people take off their masks to eat/drink, and are not always so great at putting them back on.

I think it can work if it is well planned and expectations are laid out upfront, ideally on the invite.

People don’t like to follow rules when they believe they are amongst friends or acquaintances. It’s the same as when people say no gifts and people still bring gifts. Stores have enough issues with mask compliance to show people will not follow the rules even if they provide their children with a mask during the day.

Op here. I would want 100% masks for the adults. Maybe this is a bad idea.

Op here. I would want 100% masks for the adults. Maybe this is a bad idea.

Op here. Our neighborhood had an outdoor gathering and everyone wore a mask. It was really nice to catch up with some neighbors.

My child attends a preschool where all the students and teachers are masked all day. Considering having a party and requesting everyone wear a mask. This will be an outdoor party. May hire entertainment. Haven’t gotten that far yet since we don’t even know if we will have the party.
