It’s not the candy wrapper, it’s the close proximity to other people. And you’re wrong about my child and my family. My child has severe asthma and I’m in the middle of chemo. I don’t have anxiety, assh*le, I have cancer.

Why wouldn't I let my kids go ToT? Does Covid live on candy wrappers? And, if that is the case, do you people also not dine outside in restaurants, order carry-out, venture into stores, or the like? Are you high risk that even if kid is wearing a face mask and person handing out candy is wearing a mask that you live in fear?

Yes but I am thinking just to people that we know this year. I dont want to trek around the whole neighborhood if no one is going to be answering doors and disappoint my kid.

As long as numbers in our town stay minimal as they have been all along. Some parents have already been discussing alternatives if it's canceled. We live in a small town so that helps

Assuming trick or treating is happening.

I plan to let the kids go and I plan to pass out candy at our house or leave bags out front and sit at our front steps.
