messy, argumentative, exceedingly forgetful, snores, abdicates almost all responsibility for all of our paperwork, finances, plans, etc to me. its exhausting.

Austism’s bad habits: poor executive functioning skills + poor verbal communication or ability to see anything’s needs, which inevitably leads to routine temper tantrum explosions.

DH is on the spectrum (diagnosed) and I have ADHD (diagnosed). We both do a lot to annoy each other, but for the most part we even each other out.
Right now though, he’s drinking a milkshake and trying to suck those last 3 drops up in his straw and it’s making that awful noise. It makes me see red and I want to walk over to him and smack the cup out of his hands, maybe stab him with the straw. I wouldn’t though. I find some reason to excuse and not be around him when he does that.

Very loud snoring. Can never decide what he wants to eat for dinner. Constantly turning the lights off all over the house even when people are using the rooms in question.

He spits outdoors/ sidewalks, leave used toothpicks in my car/random places and takes pens wherever he could. We have lots of pens.

He plays the piano to think. Sometimes he plays while we're talking and I feel in the moment like he's not listening to me. But when I listen to his responses I can tell he is.

My wife can dish criticism all day long. Yet slightest complaint to her will set her off and give her "permission" to be in a bad mood.
She is aware of this and can joke about it and has admitted that she likes that I just do my own thing when she gets that way.

My husband gets pissed off over the smallest things. Seriously, he just threw a tantrum about getting animal crackers. Of course in 20 minutes he's going to come out and want sex. Trying to decide if this is worth it. We have two kids or I would already be gone.
