I have a coworker with coeliac disease. The fad should be making his life so much easier, but gluten-free is a voluntary label that may or may not be true. Before, there was no reason to make the claim if a product contained gluten, now there is

Whatever OP, why would I care what your stupid opinion is? All I know is that when I quit eating gluten, I felt much better. After 6 months or so I introduced small amounts and all is still fine.

Good thing about that is that since small amounts do not bother me, I don't have to go on about it if I am in a situation where eating gluten is necessary in order to be a polite guest.

OP, I agree. The true celiacs I know are very low key and very serious about it. You don't turn around and catch them having a piece of cake that they can't resist...

I love bread and pasta and I give 0% of a sh!t regarding what other people eat or don't eat.
