Look, someone has to take care of the kids. OP and her husband are really busy and don't have time despite adding more kids.



It is the parents responsibility to care for their children!

I agree. I had to shift through a ton of candidates, go through a ton of interviews, but I lucked out on care. The first nanny we hired was good enough, but the second nanny we hired was amazing.

I think it is hard to get help to commit to weekends on a regular basis. My friend only has one infant and in the past 6 months has gone thru 6 Saturday nannies. Good weather like September now? Nanny has already called in sick this past Saturday. My friend pays $25 an hour cash for Saturday and /or Sunday for 8-3 (no chores, just childcare) and has not found anyone committed yet. Ends up she and her DH take turns much of the time. And it's a little scary during covid that so many nannies /babysitters/mothers helpers have come and gone.
