OP here. We trust the doctor and will be supplementing with formula. I was asking if there is anything else I’m addition for breastfeeding and supplementing that would help him gain weight fast.
You're acting like this is unusual and your child is severely underweight. Getting back up to birth weight in two weeks is fine. Just do what the fed suggested.
Or do you want someone to tell you it's ok to give your newborn like olive oil or rice cereal? It's NOT.
