There is a supply and demand problem with bigotry. Whites just aren't as racist as they're made out to be. Hoaxes are now more common than actual racist incidents.

The principal continued to refer to the vandalism as "racist grafitti" in communication with the school community AFTER the suspects were charged. That's unacceptable.

Interesting. I suspected something like this when all of a sudden some families particularly engaged in fighting racism at WW didn't quite make the uproar I expected after this incident.

The principal and MCPS strongly condemned the incident and made it sounded like a crime committed by white students. I doubt if they would say the same if it was a hoax.
