I am 5’5” 125lbs and gained 30-35 lbs with each pregnancy.
I think the weight on babies has more to do with available space. While I’m not an unusually small person, I do have a short torso and a retroverted uterus. Meaning it is tiled backward instead of forward. I feel like this causes more resistance to uterine growth. My stomach always measured small for uterine fundal height because my uterus never tiled forward and out, it sort of grew backward into me and up.
